Applications |
When used with a spectrum analyzer/tracking generator the return loss bridge enables one to make swept reflection measurements. This is useful for making sweep tests on receiver inputs, filters, duplexers, antennas, transmission lines and power combiners. With the proper software, available for many analyzers from their respective manufacturers, you can calibrate your analyzer which removes errors due to losses from the interconnect lines. The bridge can also be used as a power combiner which is useful for making receive sensitivity measurements. |
The terminations supplied are accurate to within 1.02:1 (40 dB of return loss). These can be used to terminate the unused ports of duplexers when using the return loss bridge to set them up. |
