This kit is used to verify or calibrate handheld analyzers such as the Anritsu sitemaster, Agilent Fieldfox, Bird Site Analyzer, or Aeroflex 3500 Test Set. It can also be used to verify accuracy of return loss bridges.

Description

This kit contains one device which consists of an open, short and load. The open, short and load are identical to stand alone devices which are marketed by EAGLE. Each device has a special cap that allows it to be screwed into a stainless steel body which creates one handy unit. This is ideal when working in a precarious location where dealing with individual devices is unwieldy. The 50 ohm termination is used during the "load" portion of a calibration. There is also an open. Also provided is a precision short The short occurs at 0.75" of the reference plane of the "N" connector.

The components are contained in a durable plastic case which protects the CKT050 during transit from one job to another. A foam insert with cutouts for the CKT050 and for the three connector protectors is included. The protectors can be stored in the case when the CKT050 is in use.
When installed this provides a dimensionally accurate outer transmission line for the female pin of the device being calibrated.
