Applications

These dividers can be used for cable fault location. Simply hook up one port to a signal generator and the other port to a spectrum analyzer. The remaining port is connected to the DUT.
Power combining or splitting.
Dividing power to provide a reference signal, for example, to a network analyzer.

Description

The HPD123NF is a high performance power divider that can handle up to 5 watts of power. These dividers provide excellent amplitude and phase mach at each port. Because of the symmetrical construction any port can be used for any function. The construction consists of a 1.75" Dia circular case with "N" connectors every 120 degrees. To prevent the connectors from unscrewing when the cover is installed the cover screws jam the threads of the connectors.

Quality

To insure that high quality is maintained each unit is thoroughly inspected both mechanically and electrically. All units are aged and then retested to insure superior stability over the lifetime of the instruments.
